MMAD is a not for profit organisation that raises over 90% of our funds from non-government sources. The generosity and involvement of individuals, corporations and local businesses plays a vital role in our ability to achieve our goals. The support we receive underpins MMAD’s programs, providing an avenue for crucial intervention and the development of wellbeing for young Australians. There are a number of ways you can support our cause.
“Feeling connected to a greater cause has made me feel more motivated in my everyday job.”

ABOUT MMAD’s 351 TEAM BUILDING SESSIONS
Our team building sessions are run by MMAD mentors and young people who have come through the MMAD program. Our corporate sessions are a social enterprise to help us sustain our current blocks. Each session goes for around 3 hours and you can choose to either take part in our creative workshops or run the amazing race around your city. Both programs achieve;
- Team building
- Real sense of making a difference
- Getting out of comfort zone
- Exploring your team values or direction in a new way
- A sense of great achievement
All funds raised through the team building session go towards funding a community in need with a MMAD creative mentoring program.
We believe that corporations in Australia recognise the value in supporting young people. We also believe these corporations are made up of amazing individuals with the skills and abilities we can utilise to help young people overcome challenges.
We have a range of sponsorship, promotional and fundraising activities that inspire personal and professional growth by offering a unique perspective and enabling employees to better understand the challenges of their roles, for an important cause.
Our team building opportunities extend the experience of our life changing programs at Musicians Making a Difference (MMAD) to create unique and impacting skill and team development that inspires employees, boost business, and at the same time supports young Australians overcoming disadvantage.
If you would like to learn more about our corporate engagement programs or what a corporate partnership with MMAD could do for your organisation please contact Alex Knight.

About Adopt A Block
Musicians Making a Difference (MMAD) use the power of music, dance and mentoring to inspire young people suffering various forms of disadvantage to make their lives remarkable. The Adopt A Block program by MMAD partners a corporate organisation with a community of young people in need, to provide them with life changing programs for their community. These areas have been identified as areas of high youth unemployment, socioeconomic disadvantage, drug & alcohol issues, violence and challenged multicultural groups, all culminating in significant youth disadvantage.
