- To all our supporters, volunteers, partners & staff: thank you for making this a wonderful and amazing year. You make the world a better place.
- A special Christmas message goes out to all the young people we’ve met through MMAD, and all the young people who are yet to meet us: we wish you every happiness in the world during this time, and every other, and we believe that what you have to offer this world is extraordinary… Merry Christmas.
- Our Carols for Charity CD will be distributed through selected McDonalds Restaurants this year with proceeds donated to MMAD & Ronald McDonald Children’s Houses… get one for just $4.95… or get your online copy Click here! Thank you to everyone who contributed to the making of the album.
- We’re counting down the sleeps ’til our Christmas Summer Camp for homeless youth! It’s a special time where we can share the Christmas spirit with children & young people who have only ever known sadness at this time of the year. Thank you Kind Heart for donating food for our Christmas Lunch, and MMAD Props to Hope UC for donating special, personalised gifts. - All our love goes to School Aid for their amazing support of young people affected by the QLD floods. MMAD toured through flood affected communities last month to uplift, inspire and unite young people… MMADness!
- Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation & MMAD will be taking to the streets in the MMAD Mobile to offer free outreach programs to underprivileged youth & the wider community. We’re so proud to partner with Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation. Note to everyone else: If you’re a musician and keen to volunteer for the MMAD Mobile, email info@mmad.org.au.
- 351 Camps will be held in NSW & QLD next April… bring it on! Keen to get involved? Email info@mmad.org.au with your name & contact details.
- The Salvation Army & MMAD join forces to provide free Street Dreams music & dance programs for at risk & underprivileged children & young people. Thank God for the Salvos.
- Vodafone Foundation makes a World of Difference by sponsoring a MMAD employee for 12 months!!
The Vodafone Foundation believes in the power of an individual to make a difference to the world they live in, that’s why they invest in people and organisations to help them reach their full potential. - Dust off your music instruments & dontate them to underprivileged young people. Email info@mmad.org.au & help us help others.
- MMAD visited Toowoomba & Grantham with the beautiful Gina Jeffreys to bring healing & hope through music to children affected by the floods. See the song & film clip “Brave” written with the children.
