YOUNG PEOPLE TO FIND THEIR “VOICE” AT 351 MUSIC EXPERIENCE – GOLD COAST.
Young people can get expert coaching from Chang Po Ching, other celebs at free event
(GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA) – September 24, 2018 – Time is running out for aspiring musicians to register for a chance to receive expert coaching from artists like “The Voice Australia” finalist Chang Po Ching at this year’s 351 Camp – Gold Coast.
351 (3 Days, 5 Elements, 1 Shot) is a camp created by the nonprofit Musicians Making A Difference as a way to encourage young musicians to reach their full potential. Each year, musicians spend three days honing their skills at songwriting, production, performance and singing. They also improve their dance skills with MMAD Moves, an offshoot of MMAD that specifically focuses on improving the lives of youth through dance. During the training, students get to interact with and receive personal coaching from successful performers who have been through what they’re going through, like Chang. After an intense two three days of inspiring workshops, students perform live on stage at a grand finale showcase in front of their peers and fellow music lovers.
“We have some of the best teachers and facilitators in Australia coming to teach dance, vocals and songwriting,” says MMAD founder and CEO Dominic Brook. “Chang Po Ching is one of Australia’s top voices at the moment”
“It’s an honour to be inspiring young people with MMAD again,” says Chang. “People should register quick as it’s an opportunity not to be missed.”
“The city of Gold Coast are proud supporters of the MMAD program and want to make it available for free to all young people,” beams Helensville Cultural Centre manager Bronwyn Lacy.
This year’s 351 Camp – Gold Coast runs from October 2-4 at the Helensville Library and Cultural Center. Young people 13-21 can register for the event by going at www.mmad.org.au/forms. MMAD Founder and CEO Dominic Brook is available for interviews in advance of 351 Camp. To schedule an interview, contact Dominic Brook at dominic@mmad.org.au.
