Where need arises, MMAD offers support to disaster affected communities using music as a tool for unity, healing & hope. Our work supports the wider response of the resilient & inspirational communities impacted by natural disasters. 

• 2022 : Disaster response programs & music-relief packs for numerous bushfire-affected communities across Northern NSW in partnership with Sony Foundation Australia.

• 2022 : Over 15,000 items for flood affected communities with a total value of $260,000, delivering relief for multiple flood-affected communities; displaced families in Ballina, young people rendered homeless across the Central Coast, and Nyangbul People of the Bundjalung Nation, including Cabbage Tree Island.

• 2020-21 : Global pandemic response crisis support, virtual programs & care packs for at risk young people across Australia.

• 2020-21 : Disaster response programs for numerous bushfire-affected communities across NSW & VIC, in partnership with Sony Foundation Australia.

• 2020 : Music Relief Packs distributed for bushfire affected children and young people across NSW & VIC. 

• 2011 : Disaster response programs for flood-affected communities across QLD including a schools tour, community youth workshops, family camps, music relief packs, & music screened at a relief concert uniting multiple communities with Gina Jeffreys.

• 2009 : Creative Relief Packs distributed for drought-affected children & young people in remote NSW. 

• 2007 : Disaster response programs for drought-affected communities across NSW including 3 free camp programs, schools tour & community workshops, supported by UnLtd.

• 2004 : Disaster response programs for drought-affected communities in QLD.
