Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to your participation in any website, program, service, event, or platform operated by Musicians Making a Difference (MMAD), including:

  • www.accessallareas.com.au (Access All Areas / AAA)

  • www.mmad.org.au

  • Any other MMAD-affiliated digital platforms, apps, or online services

  • All in-person and hybrid MMAD programs, workshops, mentoring sessions, events, and outreach activities (collectively referred to as MMAD Services)

By using or participating in any MMAD Service, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, which together form your agreement with MMAD.


Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  • "MMAD", "Musicians Making a Difference", "Access All Areas (AAA)", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Musicians Making a Difference (ACN: 640 717 620).

  • "You" and "your" refer to any client, participant, visitor, user, volunteer, or individual accessing MMAD Services or interacting with MMAD in any way.

MMAD Services are intended for use in Australia.

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be published on our websites. By continuing to use any MMAD Service, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions in effect at that time. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the service or platform.


Participating in MMAD Programs and Platforms

General Access

Some content across our websites is publicly accessible, such as news, program information, and general updates. Other features, services or programs may require registration, referral, consent, or eligibility screening.

Registering for Access All Areas (AAA) or other MMAD platforms

To interact with AAA’s group forums, participate in creative workshops, or message mentors, registration is required.

To register:

  • You must be aged 12 to 24 years

  • You must provide accurate personal information including parent/guardian permission where relevant

For online platforms: please use a private email account that only you can access. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity carried out under your Login.

Do not share your login with others or allow others to use your account. MMAD is not responsible for unauthorised access due to improper account security.

Community Guidelines (Digital and In-Person)

Whether participating in MMAD online or in person, you agree to:

  • Only post or share your own original content

  • Respect the privacy and boundaries of others

  • Refrain from using MMAD Services for unlawful, commercial, or harmful purposes

  • Avoid using any automated system, software or process to interfere with any MMAD platform or activity

  • Follow any safety instructions, guidelines, or directions given by MMAD staff or facilitators

MMAD may access, review or moderate any content posted on digital platforms, or ask individuals to leave an in-person space if guidelines are not followed.

Suspension or Removal of Access

You may stop using MMAD Services at any time.

MMAD may suspend or withdraw access to digital or in-person services at any time if:

  • You breach these Terms and Conditions

  • Your continued participation may pose a risk to yourself or others

  • You misuse or disrupt a service, program or platform

MMAD may also remove any content you post that is offensive, harmful, unlawful, or breaches the rights of others.

Duty of Care

MMAD takes your safety seriously. If we believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, we may contact a parent, guardian, emergency contact, healthcare professional, or emergency service. We do this in line with our Duty of Care and Privacy Policy. More information is available on request.

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and managing your personal and sensitive information securely. All information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles, and relevant state or territory laws.

Participation in In-Person Services

If you attend any MMAD-run program, event, mentoring session or outreach service in person, you agree to:

  • Comply with all safety instructions and conduct expectations

  • Behave respectfully toward other participants, mentors, and staff

  • Provide any necessary consent, medical or emergency contact information as reasonably required

  • Accept that MMAD may ask you to leave or decline participation if necessary for safety or wellbeing reasons

MMAD may record or collect feedback or participation data as part of its program evaluation.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, represent the agreement between you and MMAD regarding your use of MMAD Services.

All implied terms - except those that cannot be excluded by law - are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
